Oh, No, Boom!
This is a very funny video of Savanna (3 min) from a very stormy day in January. Savanna is a little afraid of thunder; the older she gets the better she understands what it is and the lesser her fear, but it is entertaining to watch and listen to small children as they grapple with things like thunder. Savanna tells you she does not like something by saying, for example, "Don't want it, boom." She talks about a "go-go" also which is one of the characters from the movie "Cars" that she is holding. The lights go out while I am taping, and her reaction is priceless. Something else surprising happens if you watch the video.
~~
These are cute, too, from the same day: 2 are of the hail storm and Noah, Savanna, and Dallas with their hands out of the window trying to feel the rain and hail (about 3.5min total), and another of Dallas and Savanna outside on the front porch (about 2 min) so she can see the booms are not so scary after all...

Happy New Year!
Happy New Year!
We are ringing in the new year with the Mays family tradition of toasting each other with a glass of sparkling grape juice (never liked champagne) after the ball drops on Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve. This was Savanna's first year, and she absolutely loved it. She had 2 glasses!
Many well wishes to everyone for 2007 from the Mays family!
